My name is Sabrina, and I am very pleased to be a teacher in the Primary B 3- to 6-year-old classroom.
I received my BA from Stony Brook University in 1991, and then began a 10-year career teaching life skills to children and adults with developmental disabilities. In 1997, I graduated from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in Manhattan. In my private practice, I worked as a perinatal massage therapist and pre- and postnatal Doula (non-medical labor coach).
In 2005, I began my formal studies of the Montessori Method. I took part-time classes offered through The Center for Montessori Teachers Education (CMTE) and received my teacher’s certificate in the spring of 2011.
Some of my hobbies and interests include cooking vegetarian/vegan food, discovering new ways to be green, reading, singing, dancing and laughing out loud.
I live with my family in Orange County, New York.
